Typeface: NAME TBD

Inspired by Futura and my love of clean, flowing lines, NAME TBD is designed as a display face—ideal for headers or whenever you want big, bold typography to shine.

Origins

Created in 2018 as part of an independent study during my senior year of college. NAME TBD began with a fascination for geometric forms and clarity of letter shapes.

Sketching

After brainstorming the overall style, I sketched each letter by hand, refining curves and proportions before moving to the screen.

Digitization

Next Steps

With the core glyph set drafted, my plan is to document the entire design process on this site and gradually polish each character. Once complete, NAME TBD will be released under a Creative Commons license for non-commercial use.
